It's just gone 9.30pm and I'm realising I've only had one glass of water all day. Bit late to try for the one-litre now, I'd be dreaming of waterfalls and fire hydrants all night. I was meant to go to the gym for session three this afternoon, but ended up watching a movie with the girls (while the kidlets trashed the house.) Have to go stupidly early tomorrow morning instead. Finn's homework isn't done (also a job for tomorrow morning) and I haven't lined up a babysitter for tomorrow night (to do: tomorrow morning).
On the plus side: the line dried washing is all inside (dry), I have not missed a beat on the tablet taking front, and for the first time since beginning, I finally had a sweet run on the 'not talking about people behind their back' item! Must've been a slow news day. Still no takeaway, the bed is made, and the plant is suffering from climate confusion - wet, but cold! Rainforest? Tundra? Where the heck am I?
Last night I dreamed I was travelling through South East Asia, and was at an airport in Bangkok - which in hindsight looked and felt bizarrely like a shopping centre in the Sutherland Shire - anyway I was obsessing about getting to the plane on time, having my passport, all my stuff, we had to catch a boat (??!) to get to the terminal and I payed the guy stupid amounts of money to take us back to our motel as I had forgotten our bags, we were rush rush rushing and dream-Dave said to me; "You know, if you were just more disciplined we wouldn't always have to rush like this!" and I was like "I know, I know, I can't help it..." and then I realised we had forgotten the kids...Even my subconscious is beating me up.
This week should be interesting, it's shaping up to be pretty massive and as we all know, it's the crazy weeks when the wheels fall off. Watch me go! M x
